The Bath Half Marathon is one of the longest established and most popular city centre road events in the UK voted by the Daily Telegraph as the ‘3rd best running event ‘ in their Top 10 big runs. The event raised nearly £1million for charity in 2008 making it one of the largest charity fundraisers in the South West.
The race starts and finishes in Great Pulteney Street, in the heart of the World Heritage City of Bath. The course itself is fast and flat making it suitable for all abilities. It covers a two lap 13.1 mile (21.1km) traffic free course straddling both sides of the River Avon.
Runners that took part in the 2008 Bath Half Marathon are eligible for priority entry to the 2009 race using the priority password distributed by Running High. Please contact Running High by post or email if you have not received password notification.
The event has something to offer everyone whether you are a runner, spectator or resident including the Family Fun day (Saturday 14th March) and the Bath Half Marathon and Marathon Mile Fun Run on the Sunday.
